The Magis suite of offerings is powered by three separate components: the patent pending StreetVU expertise, the Advanced Interpretive Search Results engine and the AutoQuote Quotation Agent system.
StreetVU
This patent pending process is designed to go one step beyond what any other geo-specific engine can do: refine mapping down to the street/block level allowing users to visualize business, buildings and attraction locations with an option to click for more information. While there are many other virtual mapping services that can pinpoint a physical location, Magis' goes beyond the mere location of a specific business or address; it permits viewing of relevant surrounding establishments.
StreetVU's version 2.0, known as "MapFlash", delivers detailed mapping down to the building address level. Maps are dynamically created in Flash file format, allowing transmission at up to ten times the speed of conventional images. Version 2.0 supports scaling and zooming at any level, from a complete city overview, down to a single street block. The integrated find engine can identify and display all businesses by name, category, brand or product offered for sale. Every building depicted on the map also serves as an active link for additional details about the business, including full address, telephone, fax and toll free numbers, e-mail and web site links.
Advanced Interpretive Search Results Engine
The pioneers of Magis have invested thousands of hours toward the production of the single most easy-to-use interface and search interpreter in the world. Input of a business name, keyword or phone number triggers a comprehensive search in four or five different permutations, leading to the displaying of the most intelligent result in tenths of seconds.
Countless keywords, category identifiers, industry classification codes, brand names and custom identifiers interact allowing users to find what they are looking for as quickly and easily as possible. The service is multilingual and the engine can even offer interpretive results when alternate languages are chosen.
AutoQuote Quotation Agent
AutoQuote is a Magis proprietary online service tailored to many different industries. It allows local shoppers and businesses to communicate with a view to transact online. A shopper simply enters his or her criteria triggering a search of all suppliers capable of addressing those needs. The resulting information is then compiled and presented in clear and concise format.
